I have to say, as conferences go, the Cape Breton Paramedic Conference has been a highlight! Set in a beautiful location at Colaiste na Gailidh in St. Ann’s, this was a great, laid back informal event, with some of the nicest people I’ve met! I had the opportunity to share my PhD research into capturing the complexity of paramedic practice.
Even though my time-slot was changed and I ended up having to introduce attendees to the concepts of systems theory and complexity thinking at 830am, I still somehow managed to receive positive feedback on my talk which was great!
Thanks to Matt, Max, Pam and all of the committee for organising a great event. I was honoured to attend, and look forward to coming back to Nova Scotia in a few months on vacation!
