It is with mixed emotions, after almost 3 years in the position, that I have decided to resign as Vice-President of the Irish College of Paramedics. With an increasingly demanding family and work schedule, as well as the challenge of being located in Canada, the time has come to pass the reins on to someone who can better serve the College and the needs of its members.
The College has achieved much that we should be proud of in the past 3 years. These include the inaugural Paramedic Research Symposium, our pioneering Responder and Practitioner Wellbeing Symposium, numerous CPC events and Scientific Days, and continued representation within key decision making bodies in Ireland. In addition, the Irish Journal of Paramedicine continues to grow year on year, and the College has been unwavering in its support of advancing paramedicine in Ireland.
I look forward to its continued successes in the future. Thank you all for your support over the past few years, I truly appreciate it.
