Early in May, I presented to the UK College of Paramedics National Conference (remotely due to ankle injury) on patient advocacy in paramedicine. While I was disappointed not to be there in person and engage with attendees, the talk was seemingly well-received! Thanks to Paul Gowens, Liz Harris and Prof. Julia Williams for the invite and the willingness to have me deliver the presentation remotely!

Finally, after cramming in our house move during June, I jumped back on a plane to the UK to speak at the Emergency Medical Services Show in London. I was joined there by colleagues Paige Mason, JD Heffern, Dr. Shane Knox, Andi Bauer, and others from Monash University, Ambulance Victoria and the NAS in Ireland. We had a great week of interesting talks, networking, and even fitted in some sightseeing around London and the odd pint or two! Well done to Anastasia Beretsos and Chris Shanks for organising this mammoth event (150+ speakers and chairs over 6 tracks)!
