Across many jurisdictions, the profession now contributes across urgent and primary care, public health, community care, education, leadership, policy and research. This expansion brings an equally important responsibility: that decisions affecting paramedic practice should be informed by robust evidence rather than tradition, anecdote or extrapolation from other disciplines.
