I have prior experience (10+years) and certifications in learning design. I specialise in the creation of evidence-based education modules that are interactive and reflect best practice, and my background as a paramedic educator lets me bring a unique subject-matter expertise lens to the development of learning modules. I’ve personally created or led the creation of a total of 85 learning modules since 2014 for services, regulatory bodies, and clients. Topics covered in these modules have included a range of clinical care, quality improvement, patient safety, professional practice, and palliative care modules.
In that time I have also completed additional professional development in inclusive learning design, and mobile e-learning. My experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) includes working with Moodle, Blackboard, Absorb, and D2L/Brightspace. I have led the migration of learning content between platforms, and I have instructed others in the use of these platforms.
For online module development, I work mainly with Articulate Storyline, but have some experience with Adobe Captivate. I also use Photoshop, Illustrator, GIMP and MS Publisher in my learning design workflow.
A limited portfolio can be supplied upon request (NDAs prevent sharing of all modules).
