Android Skills & Medication Database

Update: There are now several skill tracker apps available on the market and this resource is likely outdated. Do you want to be able to keep track of your skills and medication exposure on your Android phone or tablet? I’ve created a powerful database template for collecting anonymous skill and medication administration exposure data…simply follow these simple steps

  1. Download and install the free Memento database app on your phone/tablet – http://play.google.com/store/apps/de…roidbase&hl=en
  2. Click on the plus sign (+) to add a new library.
  3. Select “From online catalog”
  4. Go to the “Health” category, and install
    1. Paramedic Skills and Medications Logbook.
      1. Or
    2. PHECC Practitioner Skills and Medications Logbook (Rep of Ireland)
  5. Once downloaded, click done.
  6. To add a new entry, go to your library listing, click on the name of the library, and click on the (+) plus sign to add a new entry.
  7. Fill in the patient details, those marked with * are mandatory. Once finished, click done.

This can be linked to your Google Drive, creating a spreadsheet that you can download at any time to review your skills exposure. [Download as a spreadsheet, replace all ‘Yes’ with 1 and ‘No’ with 0, and you can then autosum the columns to get totals for each skill/medication administration]

EMS Flashcards

The EMS Flashcards have been retired from service. Thanks to all those who supported them in the past. Legacy files can still be supplied if you want them, however they are not clinically current and should not be used for patient care. Contact me if you’d like a copy of them.

    Hi Alan,

I am the Peeer Support Project Lead at St John in New Zealand. I have recently been tasked with reinvigorating our Peer Support Programme as unfortunately this is an area we have not paid much attention to in the past. I came across a poster that was published in the Australasian Journal of Paramedicine titled ‘Design & Implementation of a Peer Support programme for prehospital care providers’ from 2015, however I have been unable to locate any article to accompany this. Therefore, I was hoping that you may be able to foward me a copy of your paper please, and/or point me in the direction of where I may be able to access it.
I am also very big on information sharing, as are you, and also wondered if you may be able to forward me any of the papers you researched in your preparation of this poster or any other information you may have come across in relation to the design and implemantation of such a programme.
I thank you in advance for your assistance regarding this request.

    Kind regards,

    Mitch Mullooly MPA
    Peer Support Lead
    St John New Zealand
